Password protection of multiple albums

I have recently setup an image gallery using the application ‘Gallery’. I have also created multiple albums and now I wish to password protect them so that only restricted users (with passwords) can access the albums. When I try doing so, a message gets displayed ‘This item is already password protected’.

Can anyone help me get my problem solved?

Hey Claudia,

Using "Gallery" as an application you can password protect the album with the built-in permission / group / user system, here you may require the users to be logged in before they can see the albums.
You can use the password module as an alternative to the permission system, e.g. if you just want to send a single password to multiple friends instead of creating some user accounts.
